Guindulungan is a municipality in the province of Maguindanao.

Hadji Datu Antao Midtimbang, Sr. was the first appointed mayor during its creation as a new municipality. He was a well known religious leader who also served as mayor of Talayan and as vice governor of Maguindanao Province. Guindulungan is inhabited by 99% Maguindanaons.

Guindulungan is politically subdivided into 11 barangays.

Characterized by a more or less even distribution of rainfall throughout the year, the coldest months in the province are December and January. The warm season is from March to June.
