Panglima Sugala is a municipality in the province of Tawi-Tawi.

It is the capital municipality of Tawi-Tawi. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 33,315 people in 5,406 households.

Panglima Sugala is politically subdivided into 17 barangays.

The place has two seasons: dry and wet The climate is generally moderate. The wettest months are from August to November. The other months of the year are generally dry with occasional rain showers.
